Equipment Service Technician/Engineer:

Technica, USA, (www.technica.com) a manufactures Representative/Distributor has an opening for an Equipment Service Technician/Engineer to install and service equipment sold to the printed circuit board fabrication and other related industries. Technica provides a compensation package that includes an annual salary, medical & dental benefits, a $50,000 life insurance policy and a 401K savings program that includes a variety of investment options. Travel related expenses are covered by the company.

The position will have the responsibility for servicing our PCB or PCBA equipment product line. This would include installation, troubleshooting, repair service, rebuild service, etc..

This position requires a highly self-motivated, hands on, confident individual of the highest integrity who possesses a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition, this position requires an individual to be selected based on the following criteria:

Key Responsibilities are toinstall and service equipment, conduct equipment audit, provide technical service when appropriate to solve problems.

Required Skills:

- 2plus years of experience in PCB or PCBA Manufacturing environment or similar desired

-Travel domestically more than 50% of the time and in some cases, on short notice

-Possess a positive “what ever it takes” attitude while operating under pressure

-Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to initiate action plans

-Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong ability to use all resources available to find solutions

-Computer skills with ability to write detailed service and equipment reports using Word.

-Understand electrical schematics

-Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems for equipment, ensuring optimal automation and control of process

-Work in and around equipment, chemical and environmental conditions within a PCB or PCBA Manufacturing facility.
